Ways to Help

  • Become an Approved Foster Parent — The primary need in Loudoun County.
  • Mentor Youth Aging Out — Through the Don’t Go Alone program, mentors help young adults transitioning out of foster care at age 18.

The Impact of Mentorship

  • 93% of connected youth pursue education after aging out
  • Less than 1% of connected foster boys have law enforcement contact
  • Less than 5% of connected girls experience unplanned pregnancy
